Touch-a-Truck? Touch-a-Plan!

Interested in contributing to Decatur’s Comprehensive Plan Update but a little too busy with, you know, life? If that life includes raising children then we just might have your solution.

As a parent, you’ll surely be making your way to Saturday’s Touch-a-Truck event where, once you’ve released your offspring to the lure of machinery, you’ll just happen to find our Touch-a-Plan booth. There you’ll discover staff from the city and the Atlanta Regional Commission standing by to discuss everything you could ever want to know about comprehensive planning in general and population, demographics, economic development and transportation in specific.

It’s simple. Drop by, review some displays, and provide your thoughts on Decatur’s growth and infrastructure via a few quick and easy input activities.

We’ll see you there, anytime between 10am and 1pm in the Callaway Building parking lot, 120 West Trinity Place.

If you can’t make it, don’t forget we’ve still got a variety of upcoming opportunities to chime in. Or take the online survey here.
